Miss Halo
I picked up my baby girl on January 3rd. It's hard to believe that she is already 7 1/2 months. She has been such a blessing and is easy to work with! Halo is great at picking up on commands fast. They need to be perfected but she gets the basic idea and with a little help she gets it done! I am so happy that I decided to raise. What brought me into the program was that my mom had applied to get a service dog. After my mom had her service dog Felice III for 6 months, I was able to get my baby! I have gotten to see the world from a different outlook every since January. You have to think outside the box in every little outing that you go on. You need to come up with different situations that the dog could possibly face in it's future. Halo and I love going to puppy class each week. We get to be around other puppy raisers and Halo gets to see her puppy friends. Halo and CCI have brought me together with so many people. My best friend I just happened to meet because she is raising Halo's brother. It is amazing what Canine Companions can do for people. I am so overly grateful for these past 6 months.
